Lloydminster Tennis Players Take on the Road
The weekend of September 11–13, 2026 was a big one for the Lloydminster Tennis Association, with an impressive number of players travelling to tournaments in other cities and proudly representing Lloydminster on the court!
Whether the weekend ended with a win, a tough loss, or simply a new experience, tournament travel is an important part of growing as a player. Competing against new opponents, playing in different environments, and challenging yourself under tournament conditions are all great ways to learn and improve.
This was the most Lloydminster players the club has seen travel to tournaments on the same weekend! It was fantastic to see so many members of the tennis community getting out there, competing, and representing the LTA.

A huge congratulations to everyone who made the trip. Win or lose, the club hopes everyone had fun, gained valuable experience, and came home as a better player than when they left. Every tournament is an opportunity to learn something new, whether it's about your game, your opponent, or yourself as a competitor.
With the Lloydminster Tennis Association Fall Classic coming up September 18–20, players can now take what they learned this weekend and put it to work on their home courts!
