The Lloydminster Tennis Association sends congratulations to all winners and runner-ups from the 30th edition of the Paul Douglas tournament (formerly known as the Korlac as well as the Calroc Tournaments). The club is forever thankful for the great sponsors that have continued to support this tournament over the years: Calroc Industries Inc., R & S Chemicals Ltd., and Nighthawk Trucking. Without their support, the Paul Douglas would not be the tournament it is today.
While the tournament had a slightly lower player list of 37 participants, the competition showed to be tough under the hot sun. A big congratulations to Sean Riggs from Saskatoon for raising the title in both the 4.5 and 3.5 singles divisions. The club looks to see you defend the title next year.
Also looking to defend a 4.5 title are VG Dato and Warren Aguinaldo who clutched out a third win against tournament vets Ta Tumu and Justin Aggarwal. The 4.5 doubles round robin was no walk in the park for any of the teams and much congratulations are in order for the Champions VG and Warren as well as their runner ups Katie Ormerod and Tim Makahoniuk from Saskatoon, SK
